Fake Blood has spent the last few years making theatre out of big ideas, bad decisions, fake blood, borrowed gear, all nighters and the generosity of a whole lot of people.

So, we’re throwing a party.

Thanks For The Mess is a night to celebrate everything we’ve made so far, and all the artists, audiences, friends, collaborators and general troublemakers who helped make it happen.

Who are we?

Fake Blood Collective is a Meanjin/Magandjin based theatre company.

We steal the spectacle, scale and familiar tropes of film and television and drag them kicking and screaming onto the stage.

With whatever we can get our hands on, we love to ask what happens when you try to do all of it live.
